EHS Manager - Manufacturing Bonham, TX Full-Time | On-Site with Regular Travel to Rowlett, TX We are hiring an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead safety and environmental programs across two Texas manufacturing facilities. This is a hands-on plant safety role , not a desk-only corporate position. You will be the day-to-day EHS leader at the Bonham facility, spending significant time on the production floor conducting safety walks, investigating incidents, addressing hazards, training employees, and working directly with production and maintenance teams. You will also oversee EHS performance at a second facility in Rowlett through an on-site EHS Coordinator/Specialist who reports directly to you. The right candidate will be comfortable doing both sides of the job: personally driving safety execution on the plant floor while also managing people, programs, compliance, and performance across multiple locations. What You'll DoLead EHS at the Bonham Manufacturing Facility Serve as the primary on-site safety and environmental leader for the Bonham plant Conduct regular safety walks, hazard assessments, PPE audits, and equipment inspections Work directly with production, maintenance, and plant leadership to identify and resolve safety issues Lead incident and near-miss investigations, including root-cause analysis and corrective actions Develop and maintain programs including: Lockout/tagout (LOTO) Machine guarding Confined space Hazard communication PPE Ergonomics Emergency response Conduct new-hire, annual, and task-specific safety training Maintain

records Support workers' compensation cases and return-to-work programs Manage environmental compliance, including waste handling, permits, SDS records, Tier II, SPCC, and applicable air/water requirements Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and safety committee activities Serve as the primary site contact during OSHA, environmental, fire marshal, and insurance inspections or audits Oversee EHS at the Rowlett Facility Directly supervise and coach the EHS Coordinator/Specialist based in Rowlett Review incidents, audits, training records, corrective actions, and safety metrics Ensure consistent EHS standards and expectations across both facilities Visit the Rowlett site regularly for audits, coaching, training, and program support Provide direct support during serious incidents, regulatory visits, or major audits Help develop the Rowlett EHS team member through regular feedback, training, and performance management Manage the Two-Site EHS Program Build and maintain consistent EHS policies and processes across both manufacturing locations Track safety performance including TRIR, DART, near misses, training completion, audits, and corrective actions Report EHS performance and trends to plant and company leadership Maintain emergency response plans and coordinate drills Stay current on OSHA, EPA, and applicable Texas environmental and safety regulations Support new equipment installations, capital projects, and process changes through safety and risk reviews Coordinate with regulatory agencies, insurance representatives, and outside EHS consultants when needed What We're Looking For 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment Strong hands-on experience supporting safety directly on the plant floor Working knowledge of OSHA General Industry standards and EPA/environmental regulations Experience conducting incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions Experience developing and maintaining plant safety programs such as LOTO, confined space, machine guarding, PPE, and hazard communication Previous experience supervising, mentoring, or leading another EHS professional Ability to work effectively with operators, maintenance technicians, supervisors, and plant leadership Comfortable managing both day-to-day plant safety issues and broader compliance/program responsibilities Ability to travel regularly between Bonham and Rowlett Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Excel and EHS reporting or management systems Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience Preferred Qualifications CSP, ASP, CIH, or similar safety certification Previous multi-site EHS leadership experience ISO 14001 and/or
ISO 45001
experience Bilingual English/Spanish Work Environment This position regularly works in an active manufacturing environment and requires significant time on the production floor.
