SIOP Manager - Manufacturing Eastern Dallas-Fort Worth, TX Full-Time | Exempt | On-Site / Multi-Site Achilles is recruiting an experienced SIOP Manager for a growing contract manufacturing operation with two production facilities in the eastern Dallas-Fort Worth area. This is a true build-from-the-ground-up SIOP role . Today, the two manufacturing sites manage demand, supply, capacity, and inventory largely independently. The person hired into this role will be responsible for designing and implementing a unified Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning process across both facilities. process in a manufacturing environment. This is not a role for someone who has only participated in an established planning cadence. What You'll Do Design and implement the end-to-end
SIOP/S&OP
process across two manufacturing facilities Establish the monthly demand review, supply and capacity review, reconciliation, and executive SIOP cadence Create a consolidated view of demand, production capacity, materials, labor, inventory, and supply across both sites Reconcile customer forecasts and contractual commitments against manufacturing capacity and supply constraints Identify forecast risk, potential stock-outs, excess inventory, capacity gaps, and other planning issues before they impact operations Establish clear planning ownership, decision rights, escalation paths, and accountability across functions Partner closely with operations, sales/account management, procurement, finance, quality, engineering, program management, and site leadership Develop and track planning KPIs including forecast accuracy, forecast bias, forecast value add, supply attainment, inventory turns, and schedule adherence Build dashboards and reporting that provide both site-level and consolidated visibility Evaluate and improve ERP, APS, BI, and other planning tools used for demand aggregation, capacity modeling, and scenario planning Lead the early SIOP cycles personally while training functional and site leaders on the new process Connect SIOP to annual operating planning, new customer/business onboarding, and capital and capacity decisions Establish a long-term maturity roadmap and continuously improve the planning process as the organization grows What We're Looking For 8+ years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, production planning, operations planning, or a related manufacturing discipline 3-5+ years directly leading or designing

processes Previous experience implementing or significantly rebuilding an
SIOP/S&OP
process is strongly preferred Manufacturing experience required; contract manufacturing or another multi-site, multi-customer manufacturing environment is highly preferred Experience coordinating planning across multiple manufacturing facilities Strong understanding of demand forecasting, production capacity planning, inventory strategy, and supply/demand balancing Ability to identify planning gaps, perform root-cause analysis, and turn data into clear operating decisions Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Infor, Epicor, or similar platforms Experience with planning/APS systems, Excel, BI tools, or other capacity and scenario-planning tools Strong cross-functional leadership and facilitation skills Ability to influence senior stakeholders across operations, sales, supply chain, and finance without relying on direct reporting authority Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field Preferred Experience Personally standing up SIOP in an organization that previously had little or no formalized planning process Contract manufacturing or configure-to-order manufacturing Working directly with customers on forecasting and capacity commitments Working closely with program managers and engineering teams Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies

CPIM or CSCP certification Location & Travel This position will be based at one of two manufacturing facilities in the eastern Dallas-Fort Worth area . The sites are approximately 75 miles apart, and regular travel between the two facilities is required. Expected travel is approximately 25-40% , primarily between the two locations. What Success Looks Like Within the first six months, the successful hire will have designed the SIOP framework, launched the initial planning cadence across both facilities, and established baseline performance metrics. Over the following year, the goal is to establish a consistent monthly SIOP cycle with strong participation from site and executive leadership, improved visibility into demand and capacity, measurable planning KPIs, and clear ownership across functions. This is an opportunity for an experienced planning leader to build the function rather than inherit it and create the operating process that connects two manufacturing sites around one reliable plan.
