As the Production Manager, you will guarantee that manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflows. In this fast-paced environment, you must be able to handle a broad range of activities including but not limited to: scheduling, managing staff, overseeing production processes, and maintaining safety standards. The goal is to ensure that production processes deliver products of maximum quality in a profitable manner.
Responsibilities:
Manage daily manufacturing operations, including production scheduling, and resource allocation. Ensure production lines meet quality standards and adhere to safety regulations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce waste. Oversee all aspects of Texas from manufacturing to production. Laise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements. Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines. Monitor production to resolve issues and determine number of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc). Learn to operate and run machinery at the Texas location (Punch Press, Brake Press, Spot Welder, and the Paint Line). Train all new employees on machinery, health and safety and requirements on the shop floor. Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications The ideal candidate will:
Have a minimum 2-3 years experience in an order processing role for a manufacturer preferably have previous hollow-metal, commercial doors or related industry experience ability to read and interpret technical documents (i.e. Door schedules and architectural drawings) ensure compliance with standards and specifications. have a high attention to detail and accuracy. be an effective communicator. have strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task be proficient in MS Word and Excel Mathematically inclined (specifically fractions and decimals).
