Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Manage day-to-day plant operations, including production scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization. Ensure adherence to safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies. Monitor and maintain equipment performance, coordinating preventive maintenance and repairs. Production & Quality Management Oversee the manufacturing of overhead cranes and related components to meet quality specifications and delivery timelines. Implement and maintain quality control systems to minimize defects and ensure compliance with other industry standards. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to resolve production issues and improve product manufacturability. Team Management & Development Lead, mentor, and develop plant staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and provide training opportunities for team members. Ensure proper staffing levels and manage labor costs effectively. Financial & Strategic Planning Develop and manage the plant budget, controlling costs while meeting production targets. Analyze production data and KPIs to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Drive lean manufacturing initiatives and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency. Compliance & Safety Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular audits. Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental regulations, and other applicable standards.

Qualifications Education:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).

Experience:

Minimum 7-10 years in manufacturing leadership roles, preferably in heavy equipment or crane manufacturing.

Skills:

Strong leadership and team-building abilities. Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Proficiency in ERP systems and production planning tools. Knowledge of welding, machining, and assembly processes for overhead cranes. $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
