This role provides strategic direction while ensuring the successful execution of sales, manufacturing, engineering, customer service, quality, logistics, and administrative functions. The BM is accountable for driving sustainable revenue growth, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, employee development, and continuous improvement throughout the organization. Primary Responsibilities Business Leadership Own and manage all business data, metrics, and operational performance dashboards. Develop annual operating plans aligned with revenue, profitability, and strategic growth objectives. Drive revenue growth and profitability through customer engagement, operational excellence, and strategic initiatives. Partner with Finance & Engineering & Revenue Manager to develop and maintain pricing strategies that protect margins while remaining competitive. Identify new business opportunities and support the sales organization in expanding existing and new customer relationships. Review business performance regularly and implement corrective actions to achieve company goals. Operations Management Partner with the Plant Manager and Production Manager to oversee all daily manufacturing, warehouse, and operational activities. Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Customer Service, Procurement, Product Management, Quality, Safety, Logistics, and other company facilities to ensure alignment and execution. Ensure production schedules are coordinated to meet customer delivery commitments while maximizing operational efficiency. Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, safety, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction. Develop, maintain, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all departments. Ensure compliance with ISO standards and actively participate in audits, corrective actions, and quality system improvements. Maintain ownership of operational data accuracy and reporting to support informed business decisions. Partner with the IT department to ensure systems, software, and technology effectively support operational requirements. People Leadership Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing employees and leadership teams. Coach, mentor, and develop managers, supervisors, and future leaders. Foster a culture built on accountability, ownership, teamwork, respect, safety, and continuous improvement. Conduct performance evaluations, establish development plans, and support succession planning initiatives. Promote employee engagement while maintaining high performance expectations with plan to review with Upper management. Customer Leadership Develop and maintain long-term strategic relationships with customers. Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction across all business functions. Meet or exceed customer performance metrics, service-level agreements/contracts, and quality expectations. Collaborate with regional facilities and corporate leadership to expand customer programs and service offerings. Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts while supporting new business development initiatives. Safety, Quality & Compliance Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, environmental, employment, and all applicable regulatory requirements. Promote and lead a proactive safety culture focused on zero incidents. Maintain compliance with ISO quality standards and company quality management systems. Ensure all facilities consistently meet operational, regulatory, and customer compliance requirements.
