Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing operations and drive operational excellence across our production facility. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of plant management, including production planning, process optimization, quality assurance, and team leadership. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient manufacturing processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and fostering continuous improvement initiatives. The Plant Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain management and implement lean manufacturing principles that enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily plant operations to ensure production targets are met while maintaining safety and quality standards Develop and execute production schedules utilizing ERP systems such as SAP and MRP modules to optimize resource allocation Lead continuous improvement initiatives employing methodologies like Six Sigma and lean management to enhance process efficiency Manage production management systems to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for process improvement Analyze manufacturing data using tools like Microsoft Excel to support data-driven decision-making and supply chain analytics Coordinate with supply chain teams to streamline procurement, inventory control, and logistics operations Supervise plant staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, safety, and operational excellence Implement quality control procedures to ensure products meet specified standards and customer expectations Drive manufacturing management strategies that align with organizational goals for productivity and cost reduction Facilitate cross-functional communication among engineering, quality assurance, procurement, and production teams
Requirements:
Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of plant management principles Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or similar enterprise resource planning software; experience with MRP modules is essential Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing, process improvement, and continuous improvement methodologies like Six Sigma Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting Knowledge of supply chain management, supply chain analytics, and operations management practices Excellent leadership abilities with experience managing diverse teams in a fast-paced setting Familiarity with quality control standards and manufacturing best practices Ability to communicate effectively across departments and foster collaborative relationships If you are a proactive leader passionate about optimizing manufacturing processes through innovative strategies and team development, we encourage you to apply.
