Located onsite, the role involves managing tooling operations, coordinating maintenance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Tooling Manager Responsibilities:
Oversee daily tooling activities across multiple shifts, ensuring efficient operation of die-cast and stamping tooling processes. Collaborate with teams to implement safety procedures and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Lead new tooling development, managing timelines and budgets for tooling launches. Develop and refine processes to enhance tooling quality, durability, and cost-effectiveness. Coordinate with stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and develop effective solutions.
Tooling Manager Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial management, or related field. At least 5 years of leadership in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of CNC programming, high-speed machining, EDM, and grinding preferred. Familiarity with quality standards, GD&T, and lean manufacturing principles. Strong project management, data analysis, and communication skills.
