Duties Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of production teams on the factory floor, ensuring smooth operations from start to finish. Lead assembly line processes, utilizing technical proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to maintain high-quality output. Interpret manufacturing documents, technical drawings, and process instructions to ensure accurate assembly and mechanical work. Enforce safety protocols rigorously, conduct safety training sessions, and promote a culture of safety adherence across all shifts. Manage heavy lifting tasks and manual handling procedures in compliance with safety standards while optimizing workflow efficiency. Implement process improvements using lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste, increase productivity, and enhance product quality. Oversee inventory management within the warehouse environment, including forklift operation for material handling and stock movement. Requirements Proven factory experience with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and assembly line operations. Hands-on mechanical knowledge combined with experience interpreting technical drawings and using measuring instruments. Demonstrated ability to manage production or assembly teams effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in operating forklifts, power tools, hand tools, and other manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently. Familiarity with manufacturing management systems, production documentation interpretation, and process improvement strategies such as lean manufacturing. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks regularly while adhering to safety standards in a manufacturing setting. Strong communication skills with the ability to interpret technical documentation clearly and lead team training on safety protocols.
