$36.00+ per hour, based on experience, PLUS benefits Allied Blower is seeking an experienced Industrial Fabrication Shop Foreman to lead our fabrication shop in Mobile, Alabama. Allied Blower has been in business for 52 years and has built its reputation on quality industrial fabrication, dependable workmanship, and getting the job done right. We are looking for a hands-on leader with extensive sheet metal fabrication experience who can effectively manage people, production, quality, and schedules. Position & Schedule

• Full-Time
• Monday - Friday
• 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• Overtime required as needed to meet production and project schedules.
• Minimum starting pay: $36.00 per hour plus benefits
• Higher starting pay may be considered based on experience and qualifications. Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate daily fabrication shop operations.
• Lead, organize, and direct shop personnel to meet production schedules and deadlines.
• Assign manpower based on job priorities, employee skills, and production requirements.
• Review and interpret fabrication drawings, shop drawings, blueprints, and job specifications.
• Oversee sheet metal layout, cutting, forming, fitting, welding, and assembly.
• Monitor job progress, labor hours, productivity, and material requirements.
• Maintain high standards for fabrication quality and workmanship.
• Identify production issues and make timely decisions to keep projects moving.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and production requirements with management.
• Train, mentor, and develop shop employees.
• Hold employees accountable for productivity, quality, attendance, and safety.
• Maintain a clean, organized, productive, and safe shop environment.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, supervisors, vendors, and management.
• Complete basic spreadsheets, reports, emails, and other production documentation. Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years of leadership or supervisory experience in an industrial fabrication or sheet metal environment.
• Strong hands-on experience in industrial sheet metal fabrication .
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, dimensions, and specifications.
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes, shop equipment, workflow, production scheduling, and quality control.
• Proven ability to effectively lead, organize, and manage a fabrication crew.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to plan ahead and keep multiple fabrication jobs moving simultaneously.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and email .
• Dependable, organized, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment. Preferred Experience Experience with the following is a plus:
• Industrial ductwork and heavy-gauge sheet metal fabrication
• CNC/plasma cutting equipment
• Press brakes
• Welding and fitting
• Industrial fabrication equipment
• Production and labor tracking
• Coordinating multiple fabrication projects and crews Pay & Benefits Minimum pay for this position is $36.

00 per hour plus benefits. Allied Blower is a signatory contractor with Sheet Metal Workers Local Union 441 . The benefits package for this position will be equivalent to that of a Journeyman Sheet Metal Worker . We need someone who understands fabrication from the shop floor up—not someone who only wants to manage from an office. The right person will be comfortable making decisions, setting expectations, holding employees accountable, solving fabrication and production problems, and keeping work moving safely and efficiently. If you have a strong industrial sheet metal fabrication background, at least five years of leadership experience , and are ready to take responsibility for the daily performance of a fabrication shop, we want to hear from you.
