Our client is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations and ensure production, safety, quality, and productivity goals are consistently achieved. This position will oversee both salaried and hourly employees, including production engineers, supervisors, technicians, and production team members. Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day production operations to achieve established production targets and KPIs. Manage, coach, and develop production supervisors, engineers, technicians, and hourly employees. Monitor safety, quality, productivity, efficiency, and overall operational performance. Identify and implement improvements to manufacturing processes, equipment, quality, and productivity. Ensure employees have the training, tools, and resources necessary to perform successfully. Address employee performance, workplace conflicts, and disciplinary matters appropriately and promptly. Conduct performance evaluations and manage scheduling, work hours, and time-off requests. Lead and participate in operational improvement projects and cross-functional initiatives. Promote 5S, continuous improvement, and workplace organization throughout the facility. Support environmental, health, and safety (EHS) objectives and initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Management, Operations, or a related field strongly preferred. 15 years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment required. Automotive manufacturing experience preferred. Demonstrated experience leading both salaried and hourly manufacturing teams. Strong planning, organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills. Ability to communicate and work effectively across multiple levels and functions within an organization. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Work Environment This position works in both office and manufacturing environments and requires regular interaction with plant operations. Candidates should be comfortable working in varying temperatures, around manufacturing equipment and noise, and wearing required personal protective equipment.
