Responsibilities for a Materials Supervisor include but are not limited to: Direct and coordinate daily activities for 38-40 direct reports within the materials department, including work schedules, assignments, and training matrices. Utilize SAP, Cassioli scanners, and related inventory control systems to monitor stock levels, manage replenishment, and ensure material flow for uninterrupted production. Partner with cross-functional teams including Planning, Engineering, Launch, and Production to resolve operational issues, maintain receiving documentation, and drive quality management initiatives. Candidates for Materials Supervisor must meet the following requirements to be considered: 3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment with strong leadership skills. Hands-on proficiency with SAP software and material tracking processes. Tier 1 background with an OEM and CPIM certification are preferred/nice to have.
