Production Position:
Par Fry Supervisor A Par Fry Supervisor oversees food processing operations-specifically focusing on breading, batter, marination, and partial frying (par frying) lines in a manufacturing plant.
Key Responsibilities Manage Production:
Coordinate daily workflow, set output targets, and assign tasks on food processing and cooking lines.
Ensure Food Safety:
Enforce (GMPs) and maintain compliance with HACCP and internal safety systems.
Troubleshoot Operations:
Identify and fix equipment or process issues quickly to minimize downtime on the cooking and frying lines.
Lead Staff:
Train new workers, coach team members on machine operations, and monitor performance.
Qualifications Technical Knowledge:
Deep understanding of breading, batter, marination, and par-fry cooking processes.
Experience:
1-3 years of Par-Fry experience in a previous leadership or supervisory role.
Safety & Compliance:
Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and quality control.
Communication:
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills to manage floor workers and report to plant managers Ability to work with Quality Assurance and USDA. Skills Ensure that all personnel support continuous improvement initiatives Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally Basic computer skills, email, word, excel A strong work ethic-Attendance is important A strong work ethic-Attendance is important Bilingual a plus
