About the job:
Omni-Lite will provide training for this position 1st shift (6:00am - 2:30pm) Conduct receiving inspection of header tooling using inspection tools - micrometers, calipers, comparators, etc. Coordinate with tool room, engineering and manufacturing manager to ensure that all tooling is completed per customer delivery requirements. Coordinate with engineering to capture all header tooling print revisions. Ensure that all documentation (inspection sheets and various logs) are complete and accurate. Some tooling purchasing follow-up is required to ensure complete and timely receipt of tooling materials. Adheres to all company procedures and quality requirements At times employees will be asked to perform duties outside their regular duties in the best interest of the company. Including, but not limited to doing inventory, shop clean up, shop improvements or other various tasks as needed. Safety shoes / safety glasses required
Qualifications:
Previous Tool Crib experience not required - on-the-job training will be provided Familiarity with calipers/micrometers preferred Previous experience in manufacturing environment preferred Computer proficiency Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail, regulations, and safety procedures Competency with basic arithmetic operations. Organizational skills, initiative, and ability to work well independently Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.
