125k Summary We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Supervisor to lead daily operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role oversees a team responsible for set-up, operation, and programming of multiple CNC lathe machines. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and a commitment to maintaining safe, efficient, and high-quality production. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate first-shift CNC lathe activities, ensuring production goals and quality standards are met. Perform advanced CNC lathe set-ups, tooling adjustments, offsets, and program as needed. Train, mentor, and support operators and set-up personnel to strengthen skill development and performance. Review and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate machining. Troubleshoot machining issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. Maintain machine performance through routine inspections and coordination of maintenance needs. Monitor workflow, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources to maximize efficiency. Enforce safety policies, housekeeping standards, and compliance with company procedures. Collaborate with production management, engineering, and quality teams to support continuous improvement. Qualifications Minimum 8 years of CNC lathe experience, including set-up, operation, and programming. Prior supervisory or lead experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of G-code, tooling, feeds/speeds, and machining best practices. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and precision measurement tools. Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
