Job Summary Ronpak is a nationally renowned manufacturer of carry out paper bags, portion control bags and food wraps with a huge range of choices. Founded in 1947, the company is a solid supplier with continuous, stable ownership. Ronpak has the most advanced production and distribution platforms in the custom printed packaging industry today. Ronpak has an exciting opening for an 3rd Shift Production Supervisor (Beasley Department) in our Mira Loma, CA location. Training would take place on first shift and then they will move to third (10pm to 6am.) The Supervisors reports to the Production Manager and manufactures products by supervising staff; organizing and monitoring work flow.

Essential Job Functions :

Shift production operations. Recognize and solve problems affecting production including schedules, staff, waste and quality. Responsible for the smooth and cost efficient running of the plant. Ensure Employees are following safety procedures. Guards are in place and being used. LOTO procedures are being followed. Responsible for the safe operation of equipment on shift. Ensure employees are following quality procedures: Good Manufacturing Practices, Lot Control Procedures, Customer Specifications are being met. Ensure that employees are performing up to expectations in both productivity and waste. Counsel and correct improper techniques that are affecting productivity and quality. Provide feedback for areas of improvement. Ensure employees are keeping work areas clean and free of debris and contaminants. Responsible for reporting issues related to Food Packaging safety or quality. Perform other duties as assignedEvaluate employees of their job skills.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED. At least 18 years or older. 2+ years' experience in a production or manufacturing environment. Supervisory experience Required Bilingual English/Spanish is a Must.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work a 12-hour shift, standing for long periods of time. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office. Shows concern for quality work and efficiencies.
