About Our Client The ideal candidate has experience leading manufacturing teams, managing production schedules, improving operational performance, and maintaining compliance with GMP, HACCP, and food safety requirements. Experience in confectionery, candy, chocolate, or related food manufacturing is highly preferred. Job Description Lead and supervise daily production operations to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals Manage staffing, workflow, line performance, and schedule attainment Monitor key metrics including output, yield, waste, labor efficiency, downtime, and quality Ensure compliance with GMPs, HACCP, SQF, allergen controls, and sanitation requirements Partner with QA, Maintenance, Planning, and Shipping teams to ensure smooth operations Troubleshoot production issues and drive corrective actions Coach, train, and develop production employees and team leads Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and waste reduction MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant A successful Production Supervisor should have: Minimum 2 years supervisory experience Experience supervising production teams and driving KPI-based results Strong knowledge of food safety, GMPs, HACCP, sanitation, and quality systems Ability to analyze production metrics and identify opportunities for improvement Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Experience with manufacturing documentation, production schedules, and reporting Experience in confectionery, chocolate, candy, caramel, toffee, bakery, snack food, or related food manufacturing Hands-on exposure to chocolate tempering, enrobing, panning, cooking, depositing, or packaging operations HACCP Certification, SQF Practitioner, PCQI, or related food safety credentials Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience Bilingual English/Spanish What's on Offer Competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $100,000.
