The Production Supervisor oversees the Production Team and monitors the assembly of raw parts into various sub-assemblies and configurations of completed products and kits. The supervisor ensures all products conform to the first article specification and completes all of the required quality paperwork.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
The primary responsibilities of the Production Supervisor include but are not limited to the following: Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing daily assignments Supervise, train, and motivate Production Crew Ensure the safe use of equipment and tools used in the production process Inspect production output according to specifications Execute NCMR's and CAR's as necessary Follow quality standards, regulations, and practices as established through our certifications in ISO and cGMP guidelines Maintain an organized clean and safe working environment Report on issues, malfunction or defective parts Shipping and receiving of kits and components
EXPERIENCE
Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or Manager or similar Assembly Supervisor role Ability in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Possess outstanding organizational and leadership abilities Possess professionalism and strong interpersonal skills Ability in training, directing and coaching staff Proficient in maintaining workforce budgets for the department Enforcement of strict housekeeping, safety, health, and hygiene guidelines Absolute ability of attention to detail Strong decision making skills on what resources are needed for each assembly job Good understanding of quality control principles Good communication skills Ability in using tools and equipment used on the assembly line Ability to document actions by completing production and quality forms Bilingual in English/Spanish is required Minimum 2 years of experience in a production environment
