Job Description

The salary range for this position is $75,000.00- $90,000.00 DOE including bonus opportunity under the Karcher Incentive Program. WOW:
Review production orders and schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates to plan department operations. Plan department operations, establishing priorities and sequences for completing products. Prepare operational schedules and coordinate assembly activities to ensure production and quality of products meet specifications. Review operating reports and resolve operational and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays. Inspect machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization. Develop or revise standard operational and working practices and observe workers to ensure compliance with standards. Work with Human Resources in resolving grievances. Compile, store, and retrieve necessary data. Track employee attendance and review weekly schedules. Track daily part shortages. Attend all required plant meetings. Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices. Assure efficient and economical utilization of materials, improvement of methods, and elimination of wasteful practices within the department. Establish accountability and goals used for performance evaluations for each employee. Responsible for the on-the-job training, including safety and KPS, of all employees in the department. Assist Production Manager with continuous improvement initiatives. Interface with other departments to ensure customer order deadlines are met. Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or team May be required to lock down plant when instructed. It would be WOW if you would bring this in: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3+ years of related experience is required. Must be able to generate creative solutions to problems and be detail-oriented. Must be able to communicate clearly and contribute to building a positive team spirit.
