Gravel Pit Crushing Superintendent

Crossfire Aggregate is currently seeking a Gravel Pit Crushing Superintendent to join our team. Our operations are based in the Four Corners region, with gravel pit locations in Arboles, CO, Ignacio, CO, south Durango, CO, and Blanco, NM.

Position Summary:

Under the direction of Crossfire Aggregate management, you will be responsible for overseeing daily crushing operations, managing crews, ensuring production efficiency, and maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

Pay Range:

$24-$30/hour (DOE - depending on experience)

Responsibilities:

The core areas of responsibility include but are not limited to: Oversee and manage daily gravel pit crushing operations. Supervise and coordinate crushing crews to ensure efficient production. Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance as needed. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Maintain quality control standards for aggregate production. Communicate effectively with management and team members regarding production goals and timelines.

Qualifications:

Technical Strong knowledge of aggregate crushing operations and equipment. Experience supervising crews in a crushing or similar heavy industrial environment. Ability to operate and understand heavy equipment. Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues efficiently. Strong organizational and time management skills.

Interpersonal:

Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management. Ability to lead, motivate, and manage crews. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
