Production Manager Direct Hire | $75,000-$85,000/year We're hiring an experienced Production Manager to lead day-to-day production operations in a manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on the production floor, can manage competing priorities, and is passionate about safety, quality, and meeting customer commitments. What You'll Do Oversee daily production activities and supervise Chemical Technicians and department leads Schedule production technicians and allocate resources to meet production goals Monitor production schedules, order status, inventory levels, yields, costs, and scrap Coordinate closely with Operations, Planning, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Customer Service Communicate production progress, potential delays, and inventory concerns to leadership Ensure raw materials, finished goods, PPE, packaging, and other production supplies are available when needed Champion safety, environmental compliance, and quality procedures on the production floor Train technicians on standard production procedures and EH&S practices Work with Quality Control to resolve issues with finished products that do not meet customer specifications Support inventory cycle counts and audits of chemicals and consumables Conduct goal-setting and performance review meetings with production employees Ensure compliance with QMS, EH&S, ITAR, and company policies Work with Engineering and Maintenance to ensure production equipment operates safely and efficiently What We're Looking For Previous experience in a chemical manufacturing environment Knowledge of chemical handling and workplace safety practices Previous experience operating a powered forklift Strong leadership and communication skills Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately document and report data Comfortable working directly on the production floor and managing a team Familiarity with Microsoft Office 4-year degree preferred Why This Role?
