What You'll Do The Senior Production Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of our production facility to ensure products are made safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget. This role is responsible for managing staff, optimizing workflows, and coordinating with departments such as quality assurance, maintenance, and engineering. The Senior Production Supervisor monitors performance indicators, implements process improvements, and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Success in this role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Supervise a small production team, including machine operators, assemblers, and cleanroom technicians. Assign daily tasks based on skill level, project priority, and production schedules. Train and mentor carpenters and helpers in woodworking techniques, tool safety, and company standards. Coordinate workflow between cutting, assembly, finishing, and shipping areas. Track progress on orders to keep production on schedule. Communicate with supervisors and engineers about changes, special requirements, or delays. Identify process issues such as material shortages, design questions, or equipment problems and implement corrective actions. Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in fabrication, assembly, and finishing processes to optimize productivity and operational efficiency Propose improvements and actively contribute ideas to optimize processes within the production departments, in line with the Lean Maturity Model (e.g., 5S, Kaizen). Conduct monthly operational reviews to management tracking KPIs and implement corrective actions as needed. Step in on critical tasks when deadlines are tight or technical challenges arise.

• Submit material requests and coordinate with purchasing Monitor inventory levels of raw materials As a key member of the facility safety committee, conduct safety training, accident investigations, ongoing compliance monitoring and promote a culture of safety throughout the production floor Follow all safety policies, PPE requirements, and operational procedures
• Ensure compliance with company quality and operational procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area What You Bring You are a hands-on production leader who combines structure with adaptability: 5-8+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, or industrial environments Experience in low-volume / high-mix production (custom builds is a strong plus) Background in packaging, carpentry, fabrication, or mechanical assembly is highly valued Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement Comfortable working with ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling Proven ability to solve problems quickly and effectively on the floor Strong leadership style — clear, direct, and team-oriented Able to balance planning, execution, and firefighting when needed Fluent in English and eligible to work in the U.

Pay:

$75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
