THE WORK

As a Supervisor within the Avionics Product Center, you will oversee a team of hourly operators across one or multiple business units in Stratford, CT. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the assembly, testing, and control of in-process and finished goods meet company standards, government regulations, and contract requirements.

You will:

• Supervise and manage daily operations to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Assist in developing and managing budgets, staffing, and training programs.
• Participate in management meetings to discuss business status and strategies.
• Lead daily team meetings to communicate company objectives and business updates.
• Ensure a safe working environment through regular Environmental, Health, and Safety audits.
• Promote an ethics-based business culture and encourage employee involvement and innovation.

Basic Qualifications Ability to understand procedures, work instructions and specifications, and apply this knowledge in day-to-day activities Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS office applications with the ability to learn new programs that may be job specific Ability to read and understand blueprints and engineering drawings Ability to work in customer-focused environment, maintaining effective communication with internal/external customers, including DCMA US Citizenship is required due to program requirements Desired Skills Experience in a manufacturing environment Experience working with represented hourly labor force Experience with SAP Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, either ISO 9001 or AS9100 Excellent written and verbal communication skills a plus Previous Sikorsky experience

Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range:

For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
