Job Description

About the Role As a Production Floor Lead, you will oversee daily operations within our packaging department to ensure high-volume output and strict quality adherence. You will serve as a key driver of operational excellence, leveraging your leadership skills to mentor frontline staff and optimize manufacturing workflows. Responsibilities Champion a culture of safety by ensuring all team members strictly adhere to established protocols and regulatory standards. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, such as yield loss and production efficiency, to proactively address bottlenecks and protect financial targets. Drive continuous improvement by implementing lean manufacturing principles and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to resolve complex operational challenges and streamline production throughput. Manage employee development through effective training programs, performance coaching, and clear communication to build a high-performing team. Maintain a consistent presence on the production floor to provide real-time guidance and ensure sanitation standards are met. Qualifications Required Skills 3+ years of supervisory experience within a food or beverage manufacturing environment. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Demonstrated success in leading change management and driving organizational transformation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for data analysis and reporting. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maintain flexibility regarding shift schedules. Preferred Skills Proven track record in coaching and developing hourly production staff. Experience with strategic planning and executing long-term operational goals. Strong problem-solving abilities in ambiguous or fast-paced industrial settings.
