Job Summary The Blending Manufacturing Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing blending operations within a manufacturing facility to ensure the production of high-quality products that meet company standards and regulatory requirements. This position is responsible for managing the daily activities of the blending team, coordinating workflow, and maintaining efficient production schedules to meet customer demands. The supervisor ensures compliance with safety protocols, quality control measures, and operational procedures while working to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily blending operations to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient production output. Manage, train, and develop blending team members by providing guidance, performance feedback, and development opportunities. Monitor adherence to safety standards, quality control procedures, standard operating procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements. Ensure blending processes are performed consistently and according to established specifications. Collaborate with Maintenance and Quality Assurance teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and resolve production challenges. Monitor production performance and identify opportunities to reduce downtime and improve efficiency. Maintain accurate production records and prepare operational reports. Communicate production status, issues, and accomplishments to management. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize blending processes and enhance productivity. Ensure proper inventory management of raw materials and finished products associated with blending operations. Promote a safe, organized, compliant, and productive manufacturing environment. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role. Strong knowledge of blending processes, manufacturing operations, and quality control standards. Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with manufacturing software and Microsoft Office applications. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
