About Us CT Mechanical, a division of Comfort Temp Company, is a commercial mechanical contractor supporting large-scale HVAC and mechanical construction projects across Florida. As we continue to grow in the Orlando market, we are looking for a strong Production Manager who can lead field execution, support crews, improve jobsite performance, and help strengthen local operations. Job Summary The Production Manager — Orlando Market is responsible for helping turn project plans into jobsite production. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can move confidently between the jobsite, the spreadsheet, and the leadership table. This role requires strong field leadership, clear communication, and heavy computer-based work using Excel, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, and other administrative tools. The ideal candidate understands commercial mechanical construction, can support superintendents and field teams, tracks manpower and production details, removes obstacles, and keeps work moving safely, efficiently, and professionally. Key Responsibilities Oversee field production staff within the Orlando CT Mechanical market. Drive productivity, reduce downtime, and help eliminate recurring jobsite obstacles. Support superintendents, foremen, and field teams with manpower planning, scheduling, communication, and daily execution. Track manpower, staffing needs, production updates, schedules, documentation, and follow-up items using Excel and Microsoft Office tools. Reinforce company safety expectations and industry-standard health and safety practices. Set clear production goals and communicate expectations to key personnel. Provide leadership, motivation, coaching, and guidance to field team members. Identify jobsite problems early and communicate risks or obstacles to senior leadership. Establish workflow practices that improve speed, quality, efficiency, and accountability without compromising safety or work quality. Create staffing schedules to maintain proper manpower levels across active projects. Maintain accurate records related to staffing, production, employee performance, time-off requests, and field concerns. Provide employee feedback and support annual goal-setting and performance reviews. Oversee annual employee reviews and submit wage recommendations for approval. Participate in final interviews for qualified field candidates. Review time-off requests for superintendents and field employees. Address field misconduct concerns and coordinate with Human Resources for documentation and follow-up. Communicate suspension or termination recommendations to Human Resources for final determination. Uphold company core values in all aspects of field leadership and operations. Required Qualifications Commercial mechanical construction experience required. Prior leadership experience managing field crews, foremen, or superintendents preferred. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, and general Microsoft Office tools. Ability to perform heavy administrative and computer-based work in addition to field leadership responsibilities. Ability to manage production tracking, manpower schedules, reports, documentation, and follow-up using computer-based systems. Strong understanding of field productivity, manpower planning, scheduling, safety, and jobsite execution. Ability to organize data, communicate updates, and maintain accurate records. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to remove obstacles quickly. Ability to communicate clearly with field employees, project managers, leadership, and Human Resources. Safety-focused mindset with the ability to reinforce standards consistently. Comfortable holding teams accountable while maintaining trust and respect.
