Job Description
Certified Dietary Manager Duties:
Provide leadership and guidance to ensure that food quality, safety standards and resident satisfaction are properly adhered to and maintained. Assure safe receipt, storage and preparation of food, hire and manage food service employees. Prepare and maintain work schedules, motivate staff and maintain excellent employee relations. Provide nutrition consulting, participate in menu planning, control inventory, maintain food costs within budget. Perform food and supplies purchasing. Prepare cleaning schedules and maintain equipment to ensure food safety. Work cooperatively as part of an interdisciplinary team and maintain positive working relationships with facility staff, physicians, consultants, vendors, and other service providers. Perform other duties as needed or as assigned.Certified Dietary Manager Experience Requirements:
Valid CDM License and 2+ years of experience in a hospital setting or long-term care environment, preferably a skilled nursing facility. Managerial/supervisory experience. Servsafe certification. This position requires a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
