A Production Plant Foreman works with the Plant Manager or Supervisor in scheduling the activities of the employees and team leaders. Meets regularly with the team leaders to communicate anticipated production sequences, to discuss potential production problems, and to provide opportunity for input on improvement of work processes and work flow. Assist in assuring quality and safety of production procedures.

Job Description

  • Ability and experience to safely lead a productive crew to install storm drain, water and sewer systems on construction project
  • Must have clean driving record
  • Must be able to read plans, specifications and details to ensure quality, safety and production requirements are met
  • Have a pro-active management style, problem solving capabilities and strong leadership qualities
  • Must be detail- oriented, self-motivated and work well under pressure
  • Must have 5+ years of experience as a pipe foreman installing water, sewer, and drainage
  • Supervise project from planning to completion
  • Coordinate daily activities of 5 man crew
  • Actively inspect work site for potential safety concerns or health hazards
  • Hold crew accountable to company safety procedures as well as OSHA regulations
  • Submit and review employee time and evaluate crew production/progress
  • Must have great skill in reading blueprints, using pipe lasers, hydraulic pumps and trench boxes
  • Must be proficient in excavation, backfill, and proper compaction practices
  • Must be experienced with installation of sanitary sewer, storm drain, and waterlines (fire and domestic)
  • Mut be proficient with operating Excavators and Wheel loaders, etc.
  • Must maintain a professional relationship with fellow employees, owner, inspectors, and others

Full-time Pay:

$1,600.00 - $2,300.00 per week
