Imagine starting your shift by walking the floor of a clean-energy manufacturing line that helps make 100% renewable power a reality. You check the build plan, align people and tools, and kick off a quick huddle to turn production goals into clear priorities. As the Manufacturing Operations Lead, you orchestrate the work: ensuring materials are staged, equipment is ready, and each assembly team knows exactly what success looks like today. What your day looks like You translate production objectives into actionable tasks, keep a close eye on KPIs, and tackle risks before they become roadblocks. You're a champion of Lean and 5S, driving process improvements that elevate quality, safety, and throughput. When issues arise, you partner with Safety, Quality, and Engineering to investigate incidents or near misses, get to root cause, and lock in corrective and preventive actions. You verify standard work is followed, escalate deviations quickly, and coach your team toward high performance and engagement. Key responsibilities Plan daily/weekly output from assembly and production schedules; align workforce, tools, equipment, and materials to meet targets. Convert production goals into clear priorities and assignments; drive adherence to schedules. Monitor KPIs, surface gaps and risks, and implement corrective/preventive actions for continuous improvement. Lead Lean and 5S initiatives; deploy structured problem-solving to improve quality, safety, and performance. Uphold safety, environmental, and quality standards; promote an incident-free culture through active hazard identification and rapid correction. Lead or participate in incident and near-miss investigations; complete root cause analyses and implement corrective actions with Safety, Quality, and Engineering. Ensure compliance to standard work, work instructions, and quality criteria; escalate deviations promptly. Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and regular feedback; set clear expectations and foster engagement, accountability, and professional development. Other duties as assigned. What you bring High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred. Electrical or mechanical certifications/technical training preferred. 3+ years in electrical or mechanical assembly or manufacturing. 2+ years in a manufacturing/production leadership or supervisory role. Background in wind turbines, industrial, or automotive electro-mechanical systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; ERP experience with SAP, including reporting. Spanish or German language skills are a plus. Safety expectations Safety isn't a poster on the wall—it's how you lead. You know the protocols, enforce regulations, and proactively remove hazards.
