Position:
Supervise daily production operations, employees, and safety initiatives while driving key performance indicators such as efficiency, downtime, changeovers, throughput, and labor productivity. Lead, train, develop, and evaluate employees, including managing temporary labor within assigned areas. Execute production schedules and coordinate activities with other supervisors and plant leadership to ensure smooth operations and shift transitions. Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance productivity, quality, and operational efficiency. Monitor production documentation and processes to ensurepliance with quality and food safety standards, minimizing product holds, rework, and recalls. Partner with Maintenance to address equipment issues, reduce recurring downtime, and ensure preventive maintenance activities arepleted. Provide rmendations and solutions to improve performance, output, and overall plant efficiency. Maintain audit readiness and support internal and external audits as required. Education, Experience, and Knowledge Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred. Five or more years of supervisory or leadership experience in a food manufacturing environment required. Skills and Competencies Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and production reporting systems. Strong leadership, decision-making, planning, and problem-solving skills. Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams. Strong attention to detail andmitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills preferred. The starting salary range for this position is $83,508-$113,448. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for performance-based incentives subject to the terms of the underlying plan.
