Benefits:
Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k This role oversees a powder coating department on 2nd shift, leading a team of 15-20 employees. The Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring production schedules are met, quality standards are maintained, and team members are properly trained. This position requires strong hands-on powder coating experience as well as proven supervisory skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Duties:
Supervise, direct, and support 15-20 employees on 2nd shift.

Train new employees on powder coating processes and departmental responsibilities.

Start or verify proper startup of the line daily.

Manage daily workflow to meet production demands.

Oversee loading and unloading of parts on/off the powder coating line.

Confirm quality of masking, plugging of holes, and thread protection prior to coating.

Ensure compliance with customer-specific paint class and quality requirements.

Prep parts per production schedule, coordinating with hangers to avoid missed work orders.

Monitor packaging of parts and orders prior to shipment or transfer to inventory.

Communicate daily with management, HR, and other departments via email.

Troubleshoot line equipment and resolve issues as needed.

Multi-task and manage priorities in a high-paced environment.
Qualifications:
Powder coating application experience required (2-3 years preferred).Previous supervisory experience required (2-3 years minimum, with responsibility for 8-12+ people).Strong communication skills (oral and written) with ability to give detailed instructions.

Detail-oriented, team-focused, and quality-driven with a zero-defect mindset.

Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Proficient computer skills.

Ability to stand for full shifts, lift up to 35 lbs., and perform repetitive reaching, turning, and twistingForklift experience.

Experience with ERP or scheduling systems.
