Job Description
[ Summary ] The Paint Supervisor oversees daily paint department operations, ensuring production efficiency, quality standards, safety compliance, and timely delivery of products. This role provides leadership to employees, supports process improvements, and resolves production and equipment issues. [ Essential Duties ] ・Supervise daily manufacturing activities and provide direction and support to department employees ・Ensure production schedules, quality standards, and customer requirements are met ・Monitor department performance, including scrap, overtime, labor, and downtime costs ・Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with PPE and company safety policies ・Troubleshoot production and equipment issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions ・Coordinate equipment maintenance efforts to maximize production uptime ・Train and develop employees while supporting continuous improvement initiatives ・Participate in inventory control, TPS initiatives, and Kaizen activities [ Qualifications] High School diploma or equivalent. Supervisory experience with a minimum of five (5) years of manufacturing experience. Coatings experience required. Must have normal color vision and be able to match colors to approved plaques
