3001570637-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Carl Buddig & Company seeks a Production Leader to oversee packaging operations in our food manufacturing facility. This role leads packaging line teams, ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate slicing and packing of meat products. You will coordinate schedules, monitor throughput, reduce waste, and uphold strict food safety, quality, and sanitation standards. The Production Leader trains and coaches team members, troubleshoots equipment issues with maintenance, completes production and quality reports, and supports continuous improvement in a family-owned, stable, team-oriented environment focused on integrity and reliability. Responsibilities Lead and supervise packaging line staff to meet safety, quality, and production targets. Plan and adjust line schedules, staffing, and changeovers to maximize throughput and minimize downtime. Monitor product quality, food safety, and packaging integrity; ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, and company standards. Coordinate with maintenance to address equipment issues and support preventive maintenance activities. Train, coach, and evaluate team members, reinforcing safety, sanitation, and standard work practices. Track and report production, waste, rework, and efficiency metrics; complete required documentation. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve yields, and enhance line performance. Enforce safety policies and maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready packaging area.
