An international manufacturer of automotive parts in the Northwest of Indianapolis area is looking for a Production Manager . You will manage all activities related to operations and product development. The ideal candidate will have metal stamping experience as well as supervisory experience within an automotive manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage staff responsible for all production functions in a cost-effective manner Manage and coordinate production lines, communicate with Team Leaders and Group Leaders Ensure department follows established systems, procedures, methods and controls Monitor customer releases and production schedules to maximize efficiency and timely delivery of products Plan and direct production activities based on weekly requirements Perform preventive maintenance checks and 5S practices Assist in resolution of production issues involving vendors, customers, quality representatives, and other personnel Assist with business plan and operations budget Maintain a safe working environment

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or several years of relevant experience Must have automotive manufacturing experience Experience of team leading experience in plant operations Knowledge of manufacturing software (project management, payroll, etc.) Strong leadership experience within a multi-cultural manufacturing environment Strong communication skills Able to intermittently sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift up to 30 pounds Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions / Renaissance Resources Inc. has been a trusted leader in North American recruiting for Japanese businesses for over 25 years. $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
