Must be flexible to work any shift and overtime as required Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead small work teams in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing production teams, driving safety and quality, allocating manpower, meeting production targets, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring the ability to work effectively with hourly employees, Team Leaders, plant leadership, and cross-functional support teams. Key Responsibilities Lead production teams to achieve daily production, safety, quality, cost, and throughput targets. Ensure production plans are met and proactively address issues affecting production performance. Manage manpower allocation, absenteeism, training, and team development to maintain effective production operations. Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with established safety procedures, tools, and standards. Monitor production and quality KPIs, identify performance gaps, and drive corrective actions. Analyze production losses and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve area performance. Lead and participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, cost, throughput, and waste reduction. Apply Lean Manufacturing / continuous improvement principles to improve processes and sustain results. Coach, mentor, and develop Team Leaders and production employees. Build effective working relationships with plant leadership, hourly employees, customers, and support organizations. Coordinate resources and support teams to facilitate effective problem solving. Manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Support implementation of Stellantis Industrial System (SIS) processes and initiatives. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Experience leading or supervising teams in a high-volume manufacturing or production environment . Ability to work any shift and overtime as required. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, mentor, and develop employees. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels, from hourly production employees through senior leadership. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or another technical field. 2+ years of production supervision experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Previous experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment . Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Continuous Improvement, 5S, root-cause analysis, or similar methodologies . Experience managing hourly/represented production employees. Automotive manufacturing experience is highly preferred. Experience managing production KPIs related to Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery/Throughput, and productivity . Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is a hands-on manufacturing leader who can effectively balance people leadership with production performance. They should be comfortable working on the plant floor, managing hourly teams, responding to production issues, driving accountability, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
