Production Supervisor - Day shift

Summary Vuteq USA is seeking a day shift Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations at our plant in Princeton, IN. This role is vital in ensuring efficient production processes that align with our commitment to quality and safety. Join us in driving excellence in automotive component manufacturing. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate activities on the production line to meet daily targets. Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed by all team members. Monitor production processes for quality assurance and continuous improvement. Train and develop team members to enhance productivity and skills. Maintain accurate production records and report on performance metrics. Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment functionality. Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow. Address operational issues promptly to minimize downtime. Interprets company policies to team members and enforces safety regulations to ensure good team member relations. Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists team members in solving work problems. Supervise 20 - 50 production team members. Review and prepare, if necessary, production schedules and estimates team member hour requirements for completion of job assignment. Inspects products to verify conformance to specifications and directs setup and adjustments of machines. Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties. Coordinates production activities with maintenance and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment. Compile data for monthly reporting that shows results for productivity and quality. Investigate and perform root cause analysis of processing and/or quality related concerns Coordinate and validate team member training. Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications Proven experience in manufacturing or factory supervision. Strong mechanical knowledge and familiarity with assembly lines. Ability to operate forklifts and power tools safely. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Knowledge of safety standards in manufacturing settings. Excel, and Microsoft Outlook knowledge. AutoCAD skills preferred. Knowledge of environmental
ISO14001
preferred. Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience.Pay:
