Job Description

Pro Resources is seeking a 1st Shift Production Assembly Supervisor in Rome City, IN. The Production Assembly Supervisor will lead and support the production assembly department. This role is responsible for supervising day-to-day assembly operations, ensuring production goals are met safely, efficiently, and with high quality. The ideal candidate has firsthand assembly experience, strong people-leadership skills, and a solid understanding of manufacturing workflows. Shift and Compensation 1st Shift Compensation is dependent upon experience Job Duties Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the production assembly team Plan and assign work to meet production schedules and customer demand Monitor production output, labor efficiency, and quality standards Identify and resolve production issues, bottlenecks, and quality concerns Train, coach, and develop assembly employees to improve performance and skills Enforce safety rules, procedures, and company policies Work closely with Production Planning, Quality, and Engineering as needed Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, and productivity Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient production area Provide performance feedback and support corrective action when necessary Background Profile 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production assembly environment Prior supervisory, lead, or team-lead experience preferred Strong understanding of assembly processes and production workflows Ability to read and follow assembly drawings, work instructions, and BOMs Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Comfortable working hands-on in a fast-paced production environment Preferred Qualifications 1. Experience supervising mechanical or electromechanical assembly teams 2. Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience 3. ERP or production tracking system experience #Kendallville
