Full Job Description Job Overview:
This position oversees and has direct supervision and organization of all activities on the production floor. Individual will be responsible for managing staff, monitoring and organizing daily production workflow, maintaining quality control, reporting to management and supporting the development of all key processes and procedures.
Job Function:
Completes production plan by assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow to upper management. Accomplishes results by communicating job expectations and enforcing Company Handbook policies with staff. Participate and advise on employee reviews and disciplinary actions with Human Resources. Maintains work flow by monitoring steps of the process; identifying work at each station; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources. Review and maintain procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements; implementing change. Perform general duties of production as needed. Ensuring all personnel are properly trained to perform their assigned duties. Supervisory Responsibilities Communicate with other supervisors and management regarding workforce needs, vacations and cross-training schedules. Perform day-to-day tasks and have thorough working knowledge of all equipment. Manage and enforce all ODT Company Handbook Policies with direct reports and key performance indicators within each subsection of the ODT manufacturing process. Maintain a safe working environment and ensure that all employees are complying with all work and safety standards.

Direct Labor Employees, including full-time, part-time and/or temporary employees.
Print Operators, Second Shift Operators Skills/Qualifications:
Understanding of general concepts of process control. Computer applications related to the work. Ability to analyze problems and/or errors and determine the root cause. Breaking complex issues into manageable, solvable concerns. Supporting management in process analysis to solve and/or eliminate errors. Ability to manage multiple tasks, often with competing priorities. Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors. Analytical degree and/or engineering four-year degree a significant plus. Additional coursework in operations a plus.
