This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys developing employees, solving problems, and ensuring quality standards are met. The Team Leader will serve as the primary point of contact between Cross Check, our employees, and the customer while helping maintain a safe, productive, and positive work environment. What You'll Do Lead, train, and support a team of Quality Inspectors. Perform and assist with detailed visual inspections of automotive axle components. Ensure inspection procedures are followed and customer quality standards are met. Monitor productivity, quality, and attendance throughout the shift. Coach employees and provide ongoing feedback and training. Complete required reports and documentation accurately and on time. Communicate customer concerns, quality issues, and staffing needs to management. Help resolve production and quality issues quickly and professionally. Promote a safe, organized, and respectful workplace. Fill in as an inspector when needed to support the team. What We're Looking For Previous leadership or supervisory experience in manufacturing, quality, or automotive preferred. Quality inspection experience is strongly preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to motivate and coach employees while holding them accountable. Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Proficient with basic computer skills and documentation. Reliable attendance and flexibility to work overtime when needed. Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 35 pounds.
