Job Summary:
Assist supervisor with working with employees to ensure production goals are met in a safe manner. To be an essential line of communication to production associates.Major Accountabilities:
Performs activities and duties of the Production Associate position; Assists production supervisor with leading, directing, training, assigning and monitoring the activities of the shift; Ensures effective utilization of resources and people; Provides feedback to production supervision about production opportunities, problems or issues; Communicates with production supervision, employees and other departments to ensure work is completed according to schedule; Provides training to employees; Audits processes, procedures and documentation; Monitors the quality of products using measuring tools, gauges and fixtures; Participates in investigation, containment, disposition and documentation of non-conforming product; Maintains records and documentationQualification:
Team Leader experience preferred Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment required Computer proficiency; Basic Math proficiency; Read and write proficiently in English Knowledge ofIATF 16949
Knowledge ofISO 14001
