Job Description

With our own in-house trucking fleet, we don't just build at the highest level—we move FAST . Join us and help build the next bold experience. We are seeking an experienced bilingual (Spanish/English) Blasting Area Supervisor to oversee daily blasting and coating operations and ensure top-tier quality and safety standards. In this role, you will lead a dedicated team while actively participating in hands-on blasting and painting duties as needed. You will play a critical role in scheduling, tool maintenance, waste management, and driving continuous process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Production & Operations Management:
Coordinate daily production, scheduling, labor, and material needs directly with the Shop Floor Manager. Supervise the blasting production process, prioritizing shop and field work for optimal efficiency. Plan project workflows around forecasted weather conditions and deadlines. Perform active blasting and painting tasks as required by workload demand.
Quality Control & Facility Maintenance:
Oversee quality control across all finished products to maintain high standard output. Plan and execute routine maintenance on all metal preparation and blasting equipment. Estimate and acquire required tools, equipment, materials, and supplies. Oversee the safe and proper disposal of all waste materials. Maintain a clean, organized work area and participate in facility repairs or improvements.
Team Leadership & Labor Management:
Create and maintain shift schedules, daily task lists, and attendance records. Ensure accurate timekeeping for team members within the department. Foster a positive, fair, inclusive, and equitable work environment.
Safety & Continuous Improvement:
Enforce all workplace safety measures as a top operational priority. Identify areas of waste and inefficiencies across production processes. Design and implement practical time-saving and safety improvements.
Role Requirements & Qualifications:
Language Proficiency:
Must be fluent in both Spanish and English (written and spoken) to communicate with team members, management, and clients effectively.
Technical Expertise:
Extensive knowledge of blasting equipment, blast media, painting techniques, and coating materials.
Leadership Experience:
Proven ability to manage labor, mentor crews, and maintain high team morale.
Execution:
Strong commitment to completing projects on time without sacrificing quality standards.

Uncompromised commitment to safety enforcement and environmental waste guidelines.

Pay:
$26.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
