Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the department
- Monitor and manage the daily production schedule to ensure on-time shipments
- Provide daily guidance and direction to the production personnel and maintain a positive environment
- Communicate clear expectations to production personnel
- Monitor attendance, punctuality and start/stop times during break
- Maintain safe and clean work environment and equipment
- Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working order
- Ensure the department is continuously producing quality products
- Promote and enforce compliance to all company policies and procedures
Skills and Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in a management / leadership role in a manufacturing and assembly environment
- 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
- Some machining experience
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer skills
ISO / API
