Working alongside the Operations team, the successful candidate will provide guidance and support to production staff, encourage improvements across the department, and contribute to a positive and productive manufacturing environment.
What you can expect:
Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm with 30mins lunch break deducted
Salary:
£35K - £40K depending on experience Temp to permanent position Leominster, fully site based What you will be doing: Oversee, support and guide the production team to ensure daily output targets are met Make sure products are manufactured to the correct standard, within agreed timescales Monitor productivity levels and highlight ways to improve manufacturing performance and operational efficiency Assist with continuous improvement processes and encourage best practice throughout Train and development of production team Ensure all required production documentation is accurately maintained Promote and uphold Health, Safety, Environmental, and PPE procedures, at all times Ensure production areas are kept clean, organised, and maintained to a high standard Help with stock control requirements and production planning needs Work closely with colleagues across Operations, Quality, and Warehouse teams What we are looking for: Hands on experience within manufacturing, production, or a supervisory position A confident approach to leadership, with strong communication and people skills Excellent organisation and time management abilities FLT licence would be advantageous Able to work independently, use initiative, and make considered decisions A strong focus on quality, safety, performance, and maintaining high standards A team-focused individual who can engage, encourage, and motivate others Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to respond to changing business priorities A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to learn quickly Confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Office applications Demonstrate accountability for their communication, conduct, and the standard of service Work additional hours where required to support business needs Participate in staff meetings and training sessions Travel to other company sites when needed Carry out any other duties appropriate to the role as requested by management
