Job Type:
Direct Hire/Full-Time We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead production operations, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure exceptional quality, delivery, and operational performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, experience in a manufacturing environment, and a passion for fostering a culture of continuous improvement and team development. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute continuous improvement plans while facilitating team meetings and prioritizing improvement activities. Serve as the primary customer contact for quality and delivery-related issues. Evaluate staffing, equipment, tooling, and resource needs while removing barriers to team success and operational efficiency. Oversee daily production activities, ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Collaborate with cross-functional leadership teams to review plant performance and progress toward company objectives. Support employee development through training, documentation, coaching, and performance reviews. Lead, mentor, and motivate production personnel to achieve operational goals. Analyze and interpret key business metrics, including quality, cost, delivery, productivity, and operational performance indicators. Drive accountability and continuous improvement throughout the value stream. Customer interfacing at time 6-8 Direct Reports Up to 8-10 machines Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and lean manufacturing principles. Knowledge of MRP systems and production planning processes. Experience in a regulated industry preferred. Understanding of GMP requirements, FDA 21 CFR Part 820 Quality System Regulations, and/or
ISO 13485
Medical Device Quality Management Systems is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with the capability to develop alternative courses of action based on data and sound judgment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to remain calm, focused, and effective in fast-paced, high-pressure situations. Strong understanding of key manufacturing and business performance indicators
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30
PM Salary:
