Duties Supervise daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are achieved efficiently and safely Implement and enforce safety standards in production areas, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure machinery operates reliably and conduct regular inspections for mechanical issues Oversee the training of staff on GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and safety procedures to maintain high-quality standards Manage staffing levels, assign tasks, and motivate team members to foster a collaborative work environment Monitor production metrics, identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies, and implement process improvements for optimal output Ensure compliance with all safety standards in production, including heavy lifting protocols and PPE use Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain manufacturing equipment Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on safety standards in production settings Knowledge of GMP regulations and best practices for quality assurance Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and understand ergonomic practices in a manufacturing context Effective communication skills for training staff, reporting issues, and collaborating across departments Coordinate Crews, Schedules, Materials, Equipment, and Multiple active projects while keeping customers informed and ensuring our work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This is a hands-on leadership role working both in the field and in the office. Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are preferred.
