TLP Steel Erectors, Inc. is looking for a responsible worker to help run and fabricate metal products in a shop. You will be representing the company in a professional setting. Responsibilities Complete daily tasks working with steel and other various metals, including stainless steel Be able to be up early enough to get to work on time Load, unload, prepare, and inspect deliveries Maintain and clean shop equipment Maintain hardware stock and consumable stock Be vigilant at all times around the shop to avoid injury Operate a variety of machines including welding machines, mag drills, punches, band saws, torch, plasma cutter, and drill press, with knowledge of how to troubleshoot issues with those tools Skills Working experience in a shop setting. Metal working experience is necessary (i.e. welding experience, polishing experience, finishing experience) Reading blueprints Communication skills to be able to delegate work effectively Valid professional driver's license Ability to operate forklifts and tractors in a variety of weather and traffic conditions Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to take direction from a supervisor when working in the shop
