Production Supervisor Ashland, ME -
Direct Hire Opportunity Schedule:
Full-Time/Night Shift; flexibility may be required.
Salary:
$65,000-$85,000 annually
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee night shift operations and ensure strong results in safety, quality, productivity, and team performance. Reporting to the Production Manager, this position will provide hands-on leadership to the production team, ensure safety and quality standards are consistently met, and support continuous improvement efforts throughout the operation.
Responsibilities:
Oversee night shift production activities and overall team performance Ensure established safety and quality standards are consistently met Promote a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety programs and procedures Lead, motivate, and support a collaborative and productive team Schedule personnel based on production and staffing needs Complete and submit weekly payroll information Train, develop, coach, and provide ongoing feedback to employees Work with the team to maintain established workplace cleanliness and housekeeping standards Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost effectiveness Communicate effectively with management and other shifts to support smooth production operations
Qualifications:
Prior manufacturing experience required Demonstrated experience leading and developing a team Strong commitment to safety and high-quality performance Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to coach employees, address performance concerns, and build a productive team environment Must be available to work flexible hours as needed
