Job Description
Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift | Monday-Friday | 3:00 PM - 11:00PM | Competitive Pay | Leadership Opportunity
Sheridan is seeking a Production Press Supervisor to lead daily production operations, ensuring high-quality output, efficient workflows, and on-time delivery. This role is responsible for overseeing production staff, driving performance, and maintaining production standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do:
Lead and supervise bindery and press operations to meet production, quality, and delivery goals.
Manage and support production staff, including scheduling and performance oversight.
Monitor workflow, identify inefficiencies, and implement process improvements.
Partner with maintenance and operations teams to minimize downtime.
Analyze production data to improve productivity and reduce waste.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
Communicate regularly with leadership on performance, staffing, and operational needs.
What We're Looking For:
Associate's degree (A.A.); or five years plus related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Experience managing schedules, production flow, and team performance.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred:
Experience in printing, production operations, or similar equipment environments.
Background in graphic arts, technical training, or related field.
