Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Molding Supervisor to lead day-to-day production activities in a manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for supervising molding associates, monitoring production, maintaining quality and safety standards, and ensuring equipment and molding jobs are running correctly. 2nd Shift 2:00pm- 11:00pm The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of molding supervisory experience and is comfortable working directly alongside the production team when needed. Previous experience supervising employees in a manufacturing environment Experience performing quality checks on molded parts Ability to troubleshoot production and molding issues Willingness to work hands-on with the molding team Ability to verify molding jobs and equipment are operating correctly Experience leading daily production/team meetings Strong safety and quality mindset Responsibilities Supervise molding associates and monitor daily production activities. Ensure production requirements and schedules are met. Lead daily team meetings and communicate production priorities. Verify molding jobs, equipment, and production lines are running correctly. Perform quality checks and approve finished products. Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions. Make production line and equipment adjustments when necessary. Train employees on machine processes, quality expectations, and problem-solving procedures. Monitor the work area to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are maintained. Complete required production documentation and paperwork. Support Quality Management System (QMS) goals and requirements. Verify quantities, lot numbers, labels, and accuracy of materials and parts. Maintain proper material sequencing, lot control, and FIFO procedures. Assist with vendor sorting and customer complaint issues. Support material movement and shipping/receiving activities when needed. Fill in on production lines when necessary. Assist with minor machine issues and repairs. Ensure employees follow established safety procedures. Qualifications 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment 2+ years of molding supervisory experience strongly preferred Hands-on molding experience required Previous supervisory or team leadership experience Knowledge of manufacturing quality standards and processes Familiarity with blueprints, SPC, QS, Q1, ISO, and TS preferred Ability to operate powered industrial trucks, pallet jacks, wrapping equipment, scales, computers, and printers Strong communication and team leadership skills Ability to identify problems and take corrective action Associate degree or equivalent supervisory experience preferred Physical Requirements & Work Environment Ability to work in a manufacturing environment around production equipment and machinery. Regular exposure to manufacturing noise and moving equipment. Ability to occasionally lift, carry, or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Must follow all required safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area. What We're Looking For We are looking for a hands-on Molding Supervisor , not someone who only manages from an office. The right person will be comfortable leading employees, checking part quality, troubleshooting production issues, verifying equipment is operating properly, and stepping onto the production floor to support the team when needed.
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
