Job Description

Job Summary:
A Production Supervisor is responsible for guiding daily activities to their production department. They will support managers in maintaining the production schedule. The Production Supervisor is responsible for the safety of the entire shift, facilitating and achieving the production schedule. They also provide support and training for their employees to continually improve their department. They will adhere to all Bandit safety, quality, inventory and production guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Motivate, develop, and direct people as they work, identify the best people for the job. Read and analyze production schedules and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs. Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments. Confer with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances. Recommend or execute personnel actions, such as hirings, evaluations, or promotions. Report any issues or concerns (safety, quality, personnel issues, etc.) to the appropriate staff (manager, HR). Promote continuous improvement and company initiatives. Other duties as they arise or as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
High school diploma or GED Minimum of five (5) years of experience in manufacturing. Experience in leadership. Ability to read a tape measure, basic shop math, and able to read a blueprint. Ability to use a tape measure and other measuring instruments. Basic written and verbal communication skills Complete Bandit's crane and/or forklift safety training
Physical Requirements:
Frequently stand, walk, push, pull, stoop, pinch, grasp, and/or bend Requires employee to work both inside/outside in heat/cold, and/or wet/humid conditions. Frequently required to use personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent injury. Frequently lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 60 pounds
