Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Foundry Production Supervisor and lead the charge in overseeing daily operations within our foundry facility. You will be instrumental in managing a team, maintaining quality standards, and optimizing workflows to meet production targets efficiently. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily foundry production activities, ensuring smooth operations. Lead, motivate, and manage production teams, fostering a safety-first culture and high-performance environment. Oversee the use of forklifts, power tools, and manual handling equipment to facilitate material movement and assembly tasks safely. Enforce safety protocols in accordance with industry standards and company policies to maintain a secure work environment. Identify opportunities for process improvement through lean manufacturing principles and implement effective solutions to enhance efficiency. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment, including mechanical assemblies, to ensure optimal functioning and safety compliance. Maintain accurate records of production activities, including logs related to heavy lifting, warehouse movements, and quality checks. Skills Minimum 3 years factory production experience. Foundry experience preferred but not required. Familiarity with forklift operation, warehouse procedures, and heavy lifting techniques. Demonstrated ability to lead teams to higher performance. Strong problem solving and communication skills Knowledge of safety standards in manufacturing environments along with adherence to safety protocol guidelines. Experience with continuous improvement methods and tools. Experience in workplace standardization. Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks within a busy manufacturing operation.
